Milaidhoo features residences and villas; some stand on stilts over water while the others are tucked away in lush island greenery with a stretch of powdery white beach ahead. The island’s culinary journey starts here at Ba’theli, named after the traditional Maldivian cargo boats used to supply spices traded from India, Indonesia and Arabia through out the Maldives. The restaurant sits at the edge of the jetty, shaped like a traditional Maldivian boat.
