CHI, THE SPA here

CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La, draws inspiration from the origins of the Shangri-La legend, a place of personal peace, enchantment and well-being. This secluded sanctuary is located in its own spa village within the resort, with spacious individual treatment villas offering "spa-within-a-spa" environments. There is also a unique yoga pavilion overlooking the Indian Ocean, and individual treatment villas with private gardens and steam rooms.
The spa menu offers a selection of Asian massages and Indian Ayurvedic treatments, alongside locally inspired treatments and specific well-being programmes.

The Villingili Golf Course

The first of its kind in the Maldives, The Villingili Golf Course is nestled on seven and a half hectares at the southern end of Villingili Island. Spectacular sights await at each of the nine holes, mostly Par 3 and averaging of 123.4 yards in length.

Designed by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as a fun, recreational golf course for aficionados and beginners alike, it was developed while keeping the island's natural beauty in mind. A diversity of palms and exotic flora highlight the views of the ocean and the turquoise lagoon along a scenic walking path. Three joggings trails running a total of four kilometers are available on Villingili.

 Guided Bicycle Tours in Addu
Explore by bicycle the five neighbouring islands connected by a 17-kilometre road that is the longest in Maldives. Set out with a picnic and discover the fascinating lifestyle and culture of untouched Maldivian villages or stop at a coffee shop to chat with the locals over a meal.

 Yoga and Meditation
Find inner calm practising yoga or meditation overlooking the ocean. Individual and group classes for all levels as well as holistic workshops to experience a balanced approach to life and longevity are offered.

Nature

The natural, dense vegetation of the island sets it apart from many other Maldives resorts. The island has 12 hectares of lush foliage, towering banyan trees, 17,000 coconut trees, 45 species of plants, three natural lagoons and nature trails for guests to explore.
