SHEROY KERMANI EXECUTIVE CHEF
Sheroy passed out from catering college in the 1989 & at the age of 19 joined the Taj Group of hotels as a trainee chef, his first posting being at the Taj President in Mumbai. Whilst in Mumbai, Sheroy was sent for various culinary programs, including Rome, Singapore & Bangkok for extensive training & food promotions. Specialized in mainly Italian & western European cuisines, not to mention Thai & traditional Indian flavors in day to day operations.
Promoted up to executive Sous chef through 12 years, Sheroy was then transferred to take up responsibilities at the Taj Exotica resort & spa Mauritius.
After having worked 2 years in Mauritius it was time to take over the kitchens of Blue - Sydney, a prestigious Taj property in Australia wherein he dedicated 2 years setting up the kitchens & bringing in a different dimension to Indian food in Sydney.
Opening of the first Vivanta of India was next in line for Sheroy. This trendy new hotel in Bangalore city of India was a brand launch for Sheroy it was an all new setting of standards in the Taj Culinary scene. Right from conceptualization to execution the kitchens of Vivanta were a great success & another milestone achieved
